Bali's BEST Instagram Tour | ForeverVacation

Updated: Jul 10, 2022

Bali will always be one of my favourite places to visit in the world. I love everything about this paradise island - the people, the way of life, the weather, the food - EVERYTHING! I can really see myself making Bali my home at least for a couple of years in my twenties. Whilst I was in Bali, I got the opportunity to go on the Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Famous Spots with ForeverVacation. This tour was very kindly gifted to me by ForeverVacation and on today's blog post I'm going to review the tour and tell you what I thought of it (spoiler: it's all super positive and I had the best day!). But before I do that, here's some more information about ForeverVacation.

ForeverVacation has been voted the no.1 tour operator in South East Asia. They offer tours in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and the US. They've had over 20,000 five star reviews across all their tours and it's not difficult to see why! From the moment I booked to the moment I was dropped off at my hotel after the tour, the service was incredible and the communication made the day run so smoothly.

My day started at 6am when I was picked up at my hotel by Felix who would be taking me to all the best Instagram spots across the island! Felix was super friendly and full of energy (even though it was so early in the morning!). His enthusiasm for the day was infectious and made me very excited for the day ahead. Our first stop was arguably the most famous 'Instagram' spot in Bali - the Lempuyang Temple or otherwise known as the Gate of Heaven. This spot is well-known for having queues of up to 5 hours long for a photo! However, Felix had already got me a place in the queue so by the time we got there I only had to wait twenty minutes to get my photos - how good is that?!

After taking lots of photos and updating my vlog with what I was up to, we grabbed some breakfast and then headed to the next stop which was Tirta Gangga.

Tirta Gangga is a former royal palace located in Eastern Bali and is now one of Bali's most famous water palaces and the perfect spot for an Instagram worthy photo! Felix showed me around and told me lots of information about the history of the palace as well as helping me film shots for my vlog and take lots of photos. After visiting Tirta Gangga I headed for some lunch!

The lunch was a buffet at a restaurant located in one of the most scenic and beautiful places I've ever seen in Bali. The views across the rice terraces were breathtaking and it looked as if it were a painting! The lunch itself was very good - lots of variety and very tasty.

After lunch we went to one of Bali's most famous waterfalls - Tukad Cepung. I'd seen so many photos of this waterfall on Instagram so I was very excited when I saw it on the itinerary. The waterfall itself was absolutely beautiful and Felix was very patient to wait for the crowds to pass before taking lots of photos of me by the waterfall.

Then the place I'd been most looking forward to all day - the Tegalalang rice terraces! I'd visited these rice terraces before but had never had the opportunity to walk around and explore as well as being able to go on the famous swing. I didn't have to wait long until it was my turn to go on the swing and my goodness it didn't disappoint - what an experience! Felix was on hand to take lots of photos and videos which turned out to be my favourite photos from the whole day. I then spent half an hour or so walking around and taking in the beauty of the rice terraces. I'll never forget how peaceful it was walking around and admiring the layers upon layers of rice terraces and the surrounding palm trees.

After the rice terraces, it was time to head back to the hotel. Felix played many roles on the tour - driver, photographer and tour guide! I'm very grateful to Felix for making the day so much fun and I got some amazing photos that you can now find on my Instagram. I'd highly recommend booking this tour if you're planning a trip to Bali!
