After visiting Paris three times and having stayed in many different areas, here are my recommendations for which areas to pick from for your next trip to Paris...
South Pigalle - this is one of Paris' most trendy areas with fusion bistros, concept hotels and unique cocktail bars. This region of Paris is also foodie heaven with some of Paris' best boulangeries and cafés.
Bastille - this area of Paris is also well-known for its eating and drinking options. However, the price is more affordable than other areas which makes it a very popular place to come and stay in Paris.
Oberkampf - if you enjoy the Parisian nightlife then this region of Paris is for you! You can find dozens of bars on Rue Oberkampf and it's known as Paris' most vibrant nightlife area.
Canal Saint-Martin - if you're looking for a slower pace of life in Paris then this area is for you. It has quickly become one of Paris' 'must visit' areas after previously being relatively unknown to tourists.
Montmartre - this is arguably one of Paris' most well-known areas and 'dream' places to stay when they visit Paris! Don't forget to avoid the tourist traps!
