1. Japan
Japan is a country that intrigues me. The culture, the food, the language, the way of life – it all fascinates me. I’ve never visited anywhere like Japan before and that’s why it is number one on my bucket list. There is so much of Japan to explore so I’d like to make sure I have enough time to visit it all. I’d like to visit Tokyo to see one of the world’s busiest and fast paced cities in the world. I’d like to visit Kyoto to see all the beautiful temples and shrines. I’d like to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki because there is a wealth of history to learn. I can’t wait to visit Japan one day and I’d love to visit as soon as possible.
2. South Africa
A safari in South Africa is my absolute dream and has been on my bucket list since I can remember. I’ve only ever heard good things about South Africa and every person I’ve spoken to who has visited has had a fantastic experience. I love the diversity of the country. Every city is different and has so much to offer. I’d love to visit Cape Town to see Table Mountain and Robben Island. I’d love to visit Johannesburg to watch a cricket match at the famous Wanderers Stadium. Most of all though, the top spot on my bucket list for South Africa is a safari. This would be a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so excited to make my dream a reality.
3. Canada
Ever since I visited the US, I’ve always had a desire to visit Canada. The landscape across the country is breath-taking and there is so much to see and do. The National Parks are world famous and I’d want to make sure I had enough time to visit as many as possible. I’d also like to try Canada’s national dish – poutine! Poutine is chips with cheese and gravy – yum!! Whilst in Canada, I’d love to see an ice hockey game and if I got the opportunity I’d love to play myself. The top spot for my bucket list in Canada though is Niagara Falls. After seeing Iguassu Falls in Brazil, I’ve been looking forward to the day I can visit Niagara Falls!
4. Mexico
In my opinion, Mexico is one of the most exciting countries in the world. It is a country full of history, culture and diversity and this makes it such a fascinating country to visit. Mexico is very popular amongst tourists globally and the pictures I’ve seen online from people’s trips to Mexico look incredible. Cancun and Tulum are two places I would love to visit. I don’t know much about other places to visit so if anyone has any recommendations, please get in touch! I’m so excited to explore Mexico’s beaches and do some water sports. I’ve always wanted to visit Mexico and hopefully it won’t be long until I can visit!
5. The Philippines
Ever since I visited South East Asia for the first time last year, I’ve wanted to visit the Philippines. The list of places I want to visit and activities I want to do in the Philippines is endless! The Philippines is made up of over 7000 islands so I’d need to spend years there in order to see everything. Therefore, my bucket list for the Philippines includes: visiting Boracay island, exploring the Banaue Rice Terraces and seeing the active Mayon Volcano. I’ve fallen in love with South East Asia and so I know that the Philippines will be the perfect country for me to visit and travel around. I’m so excited to visit and it may be sooner rather than later as I’m planning to travel to the Philippines with my boyfriend and our friends next summer!
